Hope is not lost
because foolish pride
has finally set sail

Thank you,  for
reminding me that
silly dogs chase their own tail


Can't get ahead
while looking behind
I'll never rest again

Gladly do more than I can

I have everything
I will ever need
It's mine
and I get to carry that with me

I'll never
have to rest again

I'll never
HAVE to win

It's a feeling
that can't be forgotten

I married
my best friend

It feels as if
I'll never have
 to rest again

unless I want to

This must be the peaceful
that I never knew

Who
would think peace
is an energy, a fuel
